Ken Smolar is the Founder and President of PC Law Associates and is known throughout the national title industry as an authority on UPL matters. He has served as a panelist at multiple national title industry conferences and forums.

Previously, Ken practiced law in private practice and with the government, serving as Counsel for the Pennsylvania Securities Commission and as a Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. He has worked in a business development and client relations capacity for several companies.

Ken received a Bachelor of Arts from Haverford College and a Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law, and is admitted to practice law in Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as in the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Mary Andriko joined PC Law in 2011 and oversees all business development, strategy, and operations for the firm. She routinely advises title agents and lenders concerning practices that comply with state and federal real estate law and works closely with national underwriters to ensure compliance. She is nationally recognized as an authority on UPL matters and enjoys speaking on topics such as attorney compliance and fraud protection.

Mary fully understands the legal, economic, and operational aspects of the real estate marketplace. She possesses both large scale strategic vision as well as the ability to advance technology development initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies for title agents while providing legally compliant solutions.

Mary obtained both her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from Duquesne University. She is admitted to practice law in The District of Columbia, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and holds title agent licenses in 27 states.

Kristin Marsalese is responsible for managing all Document Preparation and Title Opinion work for PC Law and has a number of years’ experience in the real estate and title insurance industries. She has worked for law firms and national title insurance vendor management companies focusing on underwriting and compliance.

Kristin received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington, and West Virginia and holds title agent licenses in 26 states.

Wendy Harrod is PC Law’s Closing & Compliance Manager and is responsible for the daily operations of the firm’s Closing department, as well as facilitating all aspects of compliance for both pre-close and post-close activities. With nearly 20 years of industry experience, she previously held Scheduling, Recruiting, Post-Closing, and Customer Relations positions at a national title agency, which bring a unique breadth of knowledge to her role. Wendy also works closely with the firm’s IT Development team to guide systems enhancements to streamline processes and provide a smooth and efficient closing experience.

Wendy is active in multiple Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, and works hard to identify ways to support and encourage a vibrant work environment.

Adam White is responsible for the Disbursement division at PC Law and has established an industry-recognized funding department that is well-versed in the nuances of attorney settlement. Adam’s knowledge spans all elements of Disbursement Processing, Quality Control, Wire Remediation, Wire Room and Cash Management, and Post-Funding. Prior to joining a national title agency in 2012 where he worked in various capacities, Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business, and worked in sales, which guides his client-centric attitude.

Noah Jorgenson oversees all aspects of escrow disbursement at PC Law. Noah began his career with the firm in the Quality Control department in 2019, gaining significant knowledge of the processes and nuances involved in attorney disbursement. Noah focuses on efficiently managing the disbursement department while providing an extraordinary customer experience. Prior to his work with PC Law, Noah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Arizona.

Selena Hoffman is responsible for all aspects of Vendor Management for PC Law and works closely with the Closing and Document Preparation operations teams to ensure that the firm engages with the best and most qualified attorneys. Selena started with PC Law in 2007 and brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience from her previous employment with a national title agency. Selena works daily to advance the firm’s fundamental philosophy that our attorneys are our best asset, and makes PC Law Associates the industry standard for attorney closings, settlement, and document preparation.
